# Austrian vs Sarajevo Navigator

The clearest difference is rating: Austrian at 4.9 against Sarajevo Navigator's 4.3. Austrian also leads on ratings volume (5K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Sarajevo Navigator's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Austrian holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Austrian has 5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Austrian's written reviews are positive against 67% of Sarajevo Navigator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Austrian ships an update every 2 weeks, Sarajevo Navigator every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
