# Austrian vs EL AL

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EL AL at 68% against Austrian's 31%. Austrian's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Austrian holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5K and 1.3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Austrian's written reviews are positive against 68% of EL AL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Austrian ships an update every 2 weeks, EL AL every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
