# BookGanga Reader vs NotNul

The clearest difference is rating: BookGanga Reader at 2.7 against NotNul's 1.0. BookGanga Reader also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). NotNul's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 27%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NotNul sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. BookGanga Reader asks for nothing beyond the download.

BookGanga Reader holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BookGanga Reader has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of BookGanga Reader's written reviews are positive against 67% of NotNul's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BookGanga Reader ships an update every 8 months, NotNul every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
