# Bust A Marble vs SAMURAI X

The clearest difference is rating: SAMURAI X at 4.9 against Bust A Marble's 4.1. Bust A Marble's advantage is review sentiment (87% vs 47%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bust A Marble sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SAMURAI X sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SAMURAI X holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bust A Marble has 545 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Bust A Marble's written reviews are positive against 47% of SAMURAI X's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bust A Marble ships an update fortnightly, SAMURAI X every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
