# Brainwave vs Gravity

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gravity at 92% against Brainwave's 20%. Gravity also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.0) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months). Brainwave's advantage is price ($0.99 vs $9.99) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Brainwave costs $0.99 and Gravity $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gravity holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gravity has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Brainwave's written reviews are positive against 92% of Gravity's.

Brainwave ships an update every 3 months, Gravity every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
