# SWAP by Maritz vs IBS 2026

The clearest difference is rating: IBS 2026 at 4.7 against SWAP by Maritz's 2.7. IBS 2026 also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 31) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). SWAP by Maritz's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 36%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IBS 2026 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IBS 2026 has 1.5K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of SWAP by Maritz's written reviews are positive against 36% of IBS 2026's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SWAP by Maritz ships an update every 3 months, IBS 2026 every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
