# WAHOO! Button vs Sci

The clearest difference is rating: WAHOO! Button at 4.7 against Sci's 4.0. WAHOO! Button also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Sci's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months) and review sentiment (56% vs 48%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WAHOO! Button holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of WAHOO! Button's written reviews are positive against 56% of Sci's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WAHOO! Button ships an update every 9 months, Sci every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
