# Icon Skins & Frames vs Iconify

Icon Skins & Frames and Iconify both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Icon Skins & Frames's written reviews are positive against 6% of Iconify's. Iconify's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Icon Skins & Frames sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Iconify sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Iconify holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.7K and 2.7K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Icon Skins & Frames's written reviews are positive against 6% of Iconify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
