# Hindi Dictionary + vs Prepp

The clearest difference is ads: Prepp at none against Hindi Dictionary +'s shown. Prepp also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Hindi Dictionary +'s advantage is ratings volume (349 vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hindi Dictionary + sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Prepp sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Hindi Dictionary + against 4.7 for Prepp. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hindi Dictionary + has 349 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Hindi Dictionary +'s written reviews are positive against 80% of Prepp's.

Hindi Dictionary + ships an update every 2 months, Prepp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
