# Weber® iGrill® vs GrillTimer

The clearest difference is rating: Weber® iGrill® at 4.7 against GrillTimer's 1.0. Weber® iGrill® also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). GrillTimer's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weber® iGrill® holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weber® iGrill® has 30K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Weber® iGrill®'s written reviews are positive against 63% of GrillTimer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weber® iGrill® ships an update every 2 months, GrillTimer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
