# Timetodo vs task

The clearest difference is update cadence: task at weekly against Timetodo's every 3 weeks. Timetodo's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timetodo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and task sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timetodo ships an update every 3 weeks, task weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
