# Billard Counter vs WPB

The clearest difference is rating: WPB at 4.4 against Billard Counter's 3.3. WPB also leads on ratings volume (253 vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). Billard Counter's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WPB sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Billard Counter asks for nothing beyond the download.

WPB holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WPB has 253 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Billard Counter's written reviews are positive against 25% of WPB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Billard Counter ships an update every 2 weeks, WPB weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
