# Fubuki vs Suguru

The clearest difference is ads: Fubuki at none against Suguru's shown. Fubuki also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Suguru's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 52 months) and ratings volume (314 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fubuki holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Suguru has 314 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Fubuki's written reviews are positive against 88% of Suguru's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fubuki ships an update every 52 months, Suguru every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
