# CalcMadeEasy vs Omega Calculator

The clearest difference is update cadence: CalcMadeEasy at every 2 weeks against Omega Calculator's every 2 months. CalcMadeEasy also leads on ratings volume (334 vs 44) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalcMadeEasy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Omega Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for CalcMadeEasy against 4.7 for Omega Calculator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CalcMadeEasy has 334 ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of CalcMadeEasy's written reviews are positive against 83% of Omega Calculator's.

CalcMadeEasy ships an update every 2 weeks, Omega Calculator every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
