# Rockbot vs AMI Play

Rockbot and AMI Play both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 58% of AMI Play's written reviews are positive against 39% of Rockbot's. AMI Play also leads on chart position (#34 vs #126). Rockbot's advantage is ratings volume (67K vs 18K) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rockbot holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 67K and 18K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Rockbot's written reviews are positive against 58% of AMI Play's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
