# Wordzy vs Quad Word

The clearest difference is ads: Wordzy at none against Quad Word's shown. Wordzy also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 69%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Quad Word's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 69 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 5). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wordzy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quad Word has 14K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
