# Doodle Mirror vs Babble

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Babble at none against Doodle Mirror's 3. Babble also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (86% vs 75%). Doodle Mirror's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 79 months) and ratings volume (3.1K vs 5). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Doodle Mirror sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Babble asks for nothing beyond the download.

Doodle Mirror holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Doodle Mirror has 3.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Doodle Mirror's written reviews are positive against 86% of Babble's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Doodle Mirror ships an update every 11 days, Babble every 79 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
