# iSafe Pro vs Firefox Focus

The clearest difference is price: Firefox Focus at Free against iSafe Pro's $0.99. Firefox Focus also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). iSafe Pro's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Firefox Focus is free to download; iSafe Pro costs $0.99 up front. iSafe Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Firefox Focus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Firefox Focus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Firefox Focus has 82K ratings behind it against 711, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 62% and 63% positive.

iSafe Pro ships an update fortnightly, Firefox Focus monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
