# Wig it! vs Comic Caption Meme Maker Lite

The clearest difference is rating: Comic Caption Meme Maker Lite at 4.6 against Wig it!'s 3.7. Comic Caption Meme Maker Lite also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 10) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). Wig it!'s advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wig it! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Comic Caption Meme Maker Lite sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comic Caption Meme Maker Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comic Caption Meme Maker Lite has 4.7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Wig it!'s written reviews are positive against 60% of Comic Caption Meme Maker Lite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wig it! ships an update every 2 months, Comic Caption Meme Maker Lite every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
