# Sun Sentinel vs GCPC

The clearest difference is rating: GCPC at 5.0 against Sun Sentinel's 4.5. GCPC also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5). Sun Sentinel's advantage is ratings volume (7K vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sun Sentinel sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. GCPC asks for nothing beyond the download.

GCPC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sun Sentinel has 7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sun Sentinel ships an update monthly, GCPC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
