# Fraction Drills Free vs Algebra

The clearest difference is rating: Algebra at 4.7 against Fraction Drills Free's 3.6. Algebra also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 38 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 20). Fraction Drills Free's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Algebra sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Fraction Drills Free asks for nothing beyond the download.

Algebra holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Algebra has 1.3K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 83% and 84% positive.
