# Ponon! Deluxe vs Word Master Stack

The clearest difference is rating: Word Master Stack at 4.7 against Ponon! Deluxe's 3.8. Ponon! Deluxe's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ponon! Deluxe sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Word Master Stack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Word Master Stack holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 339 and 169 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Ponon! Deluxe's written reviews are positive against 71% of Word Master Stack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ponon! Deluxe ships an update monthly, Word Master Stack every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
