# IP Cam Viewer Pro vs Mycam

The clearest difference is price: Mycam at Free against IP Cam Viewer Pro's $4.99. Mycam also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 225). IP Cam Viewer Pro's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 22%). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Mycam is free to download; IP Cam Viewer Pro costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mycam holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mycam has 2.1K ratings behind it against 225, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of IP Cam Viewer Pro's written reviews are positive against 22% of Mycam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IP Cam Viewer Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, Mycam every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
