# Fast Camera vs ProCam

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fast Camera at none against ProCam's 9. Fast Camera also leads on price ($4.99 vs $9.99) and review sentiment (83% vs 64%). ProCam's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (35K vs 697). On rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Fast Camera costs $4.99 and ProCam $9.99 up front. ProCam sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Fast Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Fast Camera against 4.6 for ProCam. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProCam has 35K ratings behind it against 697, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Fast Camera's written reviews are positive against 64% of ProCam's.

Fast Camera ships an update every 2 months, ProCam every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
