# SmallTalk Daily Activities vs Language Therapy Lite

The clearest difference is ads: Language Therapy Lite at none against SmallTalk Daily Activities's shown. Language Therapy Lite also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months). SmallTalk Daily Activities's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Language Therapy Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Language Therapy Lite has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SmallTalk Daily Activities's written reviews are positive against 90% of Language Therapy Lite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmallTalk Daily Activities ships an update every 9 months, Language Therapy Lite every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
