# Unit Converter vs Conversion Calculator Plus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Conversion Calculator Plus at every 2 days against Unit Converter's weekly. Conversion Calculator Plus also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 1.5K). Unit Converter's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 70%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unit Converter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Conversion Calculator Plus sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Unit Converter against 4.7 for Conversion Calculator Plus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Conversion Calculator Plus has 15K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of Unit Converter's written reviews are positive against 70% of Conversion Calculator Plus's.

Unit Converter ships an update weekly, Conversion Calculator Plus every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
