# 7sur7 vs RTL

The clearest difference is ads: RTL at none against 7sur7's shown. RTL also leads on ratings volume (93 vs 3). 7sur7's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 45%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for 7sur7 against 4.6 for RTL. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RTL has 93 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of 7sur7's written reviews are positive against 45% of RTL's.

7sur7 ships an update fortnightly, RTL monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
