# Vumber vs BuzzNow

The clearest difference is rating: BuzzNow at 4.7 against Vumber's 3.3. BuzzNow also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 40%) and ratings volume (604 vs 36). Vumber's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vumber sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and BuzzNow sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BuzzNow holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BuzzNow has 604 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Vumber's written reviews are positive against 71% of BuzzNow's.

Vumber ships an update fortnightly, BuzzNow every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
