# Expressen Tidning vs eBar

The clearest difference is rating: eBar at 5.0 against Expressen Tidning's 4.6. Expressen Tidning's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Expressen Tidning sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.49 per month and eBar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

eBar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Expressen Tidning has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Expressen Tidning ships an update monthly, eBar every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
