# Gingerbread Fun! vs Gingerbread Crazy Chef

The clearest difference is ads: Gingerbread Crazy Chef at none against Gingerbread Fun!'s shown. Gingerbread Crazy Chef also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). Gingerbread Fun!'s advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gingerbread Fun! sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Gingerbread Crazy Chef sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gingerbread Fun! holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gingerbread Fun! has 1.9K ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Gingerbread Fun!'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Gingerbread Crazy Chef's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gingerbread Fun! ships an update weekly, Gingerbread Crazy Chef every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
