# 经济观察报HD vs Synopsia

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Synopsia at 68% against 经济观察报HD's 7%. Synopsia also leads on rating (4.6 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). 经济观察报HD's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 经济观察报HD sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Synopsia sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Synopsia holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Synopsia has 291 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 7% of 经济观察报HD's written reviews are positive against 68% of Synopsia's.

经济观察报HD ships an update every 4 months, Synopsia every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
