# Kroger vs Simpli Namdhari's

The clearest difference is rating: Kroger at 4.8 against Simpli Namdhari's's 2.0. Kroger also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.3M vs 1). Simpli Namdhari's's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kroger holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kroger has 1.3M ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Kroger's written reviews are positive against 14% of Simpli Namdhari's's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kroger ships an update weekly, Simpli Namdhari's every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
