# Simply Solitaire HD vs Full Deck Solitaire

The clearest difference is rating: Full Deck Solitaire at 4.7 against Simply Solitaire HD's 4.0. Full Deck Solitaire also leads on ratings volume (23K vs 725) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). Simply Solitaire HD's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Full Deck Solitaire sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Simply Solitaire HD asks for nothing beyond the download.

Full Deck Solitaire holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Full Deck Solitaire has 23K ratings behind it against 725, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Simply Solitaire HD's written reviews are positive against 68% of Full Deck Solitaire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simply Solitaire HD ships an update monthly, Full Deck Solitaire every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
