# Wizard vs Board Game Turn Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Board Game Turn Timer at 5.0 against Wizard's 3.3. Board Game Turn Timer also leads on price ($0.99 vs $5.99). Wizard's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 31 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Wizard costs $5.99 and Board Game Turn Timer $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Board Game Turn Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wizard has 61 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Wizard's written reviews are positive against 0% of Board Game Turn Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
