# CloudMe vs Syndoc Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Syndoc Pro at 5.0 against CloudMe's 3.8. Syndoc Pro also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). CloudMe's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudMe sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Syndoc Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Syndoc Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudMe has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CloudMe ships an update every 3 months, Syndoc Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
