# CloudMe vs PieCloud

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PieCloud at 100% against CloudMe's 46%. PieCloud also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). CloudMe's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudMe sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and PieCloud sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PieCloud holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 4 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of CloudMe's written reviews are positive against 100% of PieCloud's.

CloudMe ships an update every 3 months, PieCloud every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
