# Bonhams vs PureRatings

The clearest difference is rating: PureRatings at 5.0 against Bonhams's 3.1. PureRatings also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Bonhams's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (150 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PureRatings holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bonhams has 150 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bonhams ships an update monthly, PureRatings every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
