# Sleipnir Mobile vs SplitTabBrowser

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sleipnir Mobile at 68% against SplitTabBrowser's 0%. Sleipnir Mobile also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). SplitTabBrowser's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 1.6) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SplitTabBrowser holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sleipnir Mobile has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Sleipnir Mobile's written reviews are positive against 0% of SplitTabBrowser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sleipnir Mobile ships an update every 6 weeks, SplitTabBrowser every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and June 6, 2026 respectively.
