# Sleipnir Mobile vs mae2c

The clearest difference is rating: mae2c at 3.0 against Sleipnir Mobile's 1.6. mae2c also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). Sleipnir Mobile's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (68% vs 46%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

mae2c holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sleipnir Mobile has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Sleipnir Mobile's written reviews are positive against 46% of mae2c's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sleipnir Mobile ships an update every 6 weeks, mae2c every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
