# ABC 3340 News vs AL.com

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ABC 3340 News at none against AL.com's 10. ABC 3340 News also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). AL.com's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 758) and chart position (#145 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AL.com sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. ABC 3340 News asks for nothing beyond the download.

ABC 3340 News holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AL.com has 16K ratings behind it against 758, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of ABC 3340 News's written reviews are positive against 24% of AL.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABC 3340 News ships an update every 2 weeks, AL.com every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
