# Capture Pilot vs Pink Span

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pink Span at every 3 days against Capture Pilot's every 4 months. Capture Pilot's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capture Pilot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pink Span sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Capture Pilot ships an update every 4 months, Pink Span every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
