# RemotePC Remote Desktop vs LUCI Live

The clearest difference is rating: RemotePC Remote Desktop at 4.6 against LUCI Live's 4.0. RemotePC Remote Desktop also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RemotePC Remote Desktop sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and LUCI Live sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RemotePC Remote Desktop holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RemotePC Remote Desktop has 3.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RemotePC Remote Desktop ships an update every 2 weeks, LUCI Live every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
