# Speed Tracker. Pro vs Large Maps

The clearest difference is price: Large Maps at $7.99 against Speed Tracker. Pro's $19.99. Large Maps also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Speed Tracker. Pro's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1) and chart position (#172 vs unranked). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Speed Tracker. Pro costs $19.99 and Large Maps $7.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Large Maps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed Tracker. Pro has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Speed Tracker. Pro's written reviews are positive against 64% of Large Maps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Speed Tracker. Pro ships an update every 2 months, Large Maps every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
