# Drummer Lite vs Senstroke

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Drummer Lite at none against Senstroke's 3. Drummer Lite also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.3 vs 16.0). Senstroke's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 14 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Senstroke sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days. Drummer Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drummer Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Senstroke has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Drummer Lite's written reviews are positive against 55% of Senstroke's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drummer Lite ships an update every 14 months, Senstroke monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
