# Drummer Lite vs Thumbforge

Drummer Lite and Thumbforge both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Thumbforge's written reviews are positive against 36% of Drummer Lite's. Thumbforge also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Drummer Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thumbforge has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Drummer Lite's written reviews are positive against 100% of Thumbforge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
