# Guitar vs Gituru

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Gituru at none against Guitar's 10. Gituru also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (14.7 vs 17.0). Guitar's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 48%) and ratings volume (7.7K vs 945). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guitar sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Gituru asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Guitar against 4.5 for Gituru. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guitar has 7.7K ratings behind it against 945, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Guitar's written reviews are positive against 48% of Gituru's.
