# CalReader vs Mailbutler mobile

The clearest difference is price: Mailbutler mobile at Free against CalReader's $6.99. Mailbutler mobile also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 40%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). CalReader's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.8) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). CalReader holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mailbutler mobile has 126 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of CalReader's written reviews are positive against 78% of Mailbutler mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
