# Loopseque Mini vs Songcrate

The clearest difference is price: Songcrate at Free against Loopseque Mini's $0.99. Songcrate also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). Loopseque Mini's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (14 vs 2). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Songcrate is free to download; Loopseque Mini costs $0.99 up front. Loopseque Mini sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Songcrate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loopseque Mini holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loopseque Mini has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Loopseque Mini's written reviews are positive against 100% of Songcrate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Loopseque Mini ships an update every 5 months, Songcrate monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
