# Alarm Clock vs Timer Pro

The clearest difference is ads: Timer Pro at none against Alarm Clock's shown. Timer Pro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Alarm Clock's advantage is ratings volume (36K vs 11) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Clock sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Timer Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alarm Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock has 36K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.
