# Alarm Clock vs eClock!

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Alarm Clock at 36K against eClock!'s 177. eClock!'s advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Clock sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and eClock! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Alarm Clock against 4.6 for eClock!. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock has 36K ratings behind it against 177, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Alarm Clock's written reviews are positive against 85% of eClock!'s.

Alarm Clock ships an update monthly, eClock! every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
